Credit where credit is due, and right now, credit is definitely due to this place. From what we understand, it’s simply called, ‘Good Food’. (We hope we’re right). Or you might recognize it as that corner Chinese restaurant with the sign that says, ‘Come in or Takeaway, Dumpling and Chinese Cuisine’.
There’s something about finding places like these. Rarely known, never over the top busy or expensive, but authentic simple and down to earth Chinese food served quickly and very well.
The portions at Good Food (yep that’s what we’re going with), are big. They don’t skimp on the meats and we thank them for it. The lamb scorpion hotpot is a must for the winters. In fact, all the hot pots are a must-try. Bring a few friends too cause you ain’t finishing it alone.
This place reminds me of one of those old school typical Chinese takeaways in New York. The kind of place that’s filled with Chinese locals who all know exactly where to go for authentic, affordable feeds. Which is exactly why we went there. Exactly why we ate there, and exactly why we are recommending Good Food.
The food is good at Good Food. That should be their slogan, you’re welcome.
