In the heart of Brunswick Street is the Perseverance Hotel. Frayed at the edges, weathered and worn with that spiral point standing tall, like a beacon calling to the young and the wild.
Iconic and always packed, the Perseverance belongs to the youth. Twinkle in their eyes, drink in their hands, beats in their feet and only god knows what’s in their pockets.
It’s a uni student go-to. DJ’s get it going and the crowds keep on coming, the Perseverance is the perfect name because when you walk through those doors you better be able to last.
Saturdays are for house and dance, Friday’s are usually 90’s or ladies night, and there’s an Indie Thursday for those punk rock grunge fans. The dance floor is pumping and you can always chill at the courtyard for those fueled conversations or flirty rendezvous.
If you’re hungry, they got that too. Stop by during the day for some tinnie’s and toasties and if you’re looking to host a party then give them a buzz and set it up!
